I have decided to bombard you with various random pieces of information, none of which you will find interesting. (I haven’t had enough information to post about for any of my blogs so its hardly a surprise that it hasnt changed with my re-election)

While not strictly on topic, I had great difficulty finding amusing election pictures that were vague enough to be useful. I found the above one interesting enough so I went for it.
Right anyway on to the topic at hand.
We had our AGM thursday and I have to say it was our most successful one yet. (since relating to the pic slightly there was nothing to talk about :) )
We talked about GCN yet again, which actually turned more in depth than the brief update I envisaged so we decided to have yet another vote in favour of it.

First off apologies for not posting last Sunday have been a bit busy getting things sorted, there will be no post this Sunday either but there will be one on Friday to report back from the AGM.
So with as little notice as possible we bring you the AGM.
It will start at 20:00 with games pausing for the meeting.
There will be a brief talk about GCN.
A run down on the Club Challenge, hopefully allowing us to clarify who is up for it currently. (Though the final decision may not be made on the night)

I was tempted not to post anything this week since we already had a picture update so I didnt have to do anything, but fighting hard against my inner rage of having an hour of my day stolen, I have decided to talk about the recent GW releases that are maybe perhaps a bit dull since they are not new models but are still important.
Glue
First up is glue, a week or two back GW re-released their Super Glue and Plastic, to announce this they released an amusing story (if your 5) on their website about how the world crumbles without glue. While they have improved things they’ve also upped the cost.

Ok first up why the odd title? Well interestingly a company has trademarked the term Army builder, so the title is their to shoehorn that interesting fact in.
What is an army construction tool
Right before I delve into each individual option about their I think its best if I begin to explain what I am on about.
Army construction tools (pretty much universally called Army Builders; think vacuum cleaner, Hoover relationship) are used in 40k like the rest of the normal world uses them to help plan armies, we unlike the rest of the world do this with toy soldiers rather than AKs.

Net Lists
Net lists have been going strong all the time, I’ve been playing 40k, While I would agree they tend to be very strong lists (usually they crop up from tournament winning lists or the best units in a codex), I do not think its a good idea to use them (unless of course you were its inventor).
Is this because I want everyone to use weak lists so I can breeze through them, no.

The annual Lazarblast tournament was last Sunday 4th of March, we had a good showing from Norwich Last Stand regulars, not particularly surprising considering its so local, although Sonny made an excuse to come back from Canterbury for the event.
Out of the 20 man field we had 6 players, all the players did well, especially Mike C who won the Best General award, the most surprising part of this victory was that he pipped Mike M to the award as they played each other in the last round. Maybe McGuires terrible luck in tournaments has turned.
